2. General information
We take the protection of your personal data seriously and process it in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data protection law. This policy explains what data we collect when you visit this website, for what purpose, and what rights you have. Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted on a server located in a data center operated by IONOS SE in Germany.
When you access this website, the hosting infrastructure automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits. These are:
- anonymised or shortened IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of the request
- the page / file requested and the amount of data transferred
- HTTP status code
- referrer URL and the browser type / operating system used
This data is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the technically secure, stable and efficient provision of the website. Log data is retained only for as long as necessary for these purposes and for security analysis, and is then deleted.
4. Web fonts (Google Fonts)
To present our content in a consistent typeface, this website currently loads web fonts (Michroma and Jost) from Google Fonts, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited. When a page is loaded, your browser establishes a connection to Google servers so that the fonts can be retrieved and displayed. In doing so, your IP address is transmitted to Google and may be processed on servers outside the European Union. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in a uniform and appealing presentation of our website. Google's privacy policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
5. Local storage (language preference)
This website stores your language choice locally in your browser's local storage (key
dtme_lang) so that we can show you the site in your preferred
language on future visits. This value stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and
contains no data that identifies you personally. It is strictly necessary for this
functionality (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). You can delete it at any time via your browser settings.
6. Contacting us
If you contact us by email, the data you provide (such as your name, email address and the content of your message) will be processed solely for the purpose of handling your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your request relates to the performance of a contract, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). We delete this data once it is no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights with regard to your personal data:
- right of access (Art. 15 GDPR)
- right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
- right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in section 1.
8. Right to lodge a complaint
Without prejudice to any other remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement, if you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR.
9. SSL / TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL / TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the "https://" prefix in your browser's address bar.
